On March 5, 2025, a delegation from Gulf Medical University (GMU), including representatives from the Quality Assurance & Institutional Effectiveness Deanship, Human Resources, Student Admissions, Finance departments, and the Thumbay Folio team, participated in the HEDB workshop (formerly CHEDS) organized by the Ministry of Education. Held at Emirates Aviation University in Dubai, the workshop focused on optimizing the data submission process for higher education institutions across the UAE.
The event featured insightful sessions covering Student, Employee, and Institutional Datasets, offering participants a deeper understanding of best practices and the latest updates in data reporting. With the collective efforts of these departments, GMU remains committed to fostering a culture of evidence-based decision-making, aligning with HEDB’s vision of leveraging data-driven strategies to advance the higher education sector.
