On June 9, 2022, Prof. Manda Venkatramana Vice-Chancellor Academics, Dr. Ibrahim Elsayed Director of the QA&IE and Dr. Sara Othman, Manager Program Review and Accreditation, Dr. Pankaj Lamba, Clinical Assistant Professor Ophthalmology, and Mr. Suraj Sebastian, LMS Manager participated in the eLearning Seminar that was organized by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) – Ministry of Education at the American University of Sharjah.
The purpose of this seminar was to highlight UAE’s Higher Education Institutions’ experience and perspective in adapting and enhancing institutional policies, infrastructure and practices that support eLearning development, and to shed light on the eLearning requirements of the CAA’s 2019 Standards.
The seminar included informative and interactive talks given by Prof. Tracy Ann Scholl, Commissioner at CAA, Prof. Mansoor Alawar, Chancellor, Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University, Prof. Mark Russell, Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK-HQ) and Prof. James Gazzard, Director, Institute of Continuing Education (ICE), University of Cambridge.
