GMU Joins the Consortium for Benchmarking Framework for Online, Open, Smart and Technology-enhanced Higher Education

Gulf Medical University is thrilled to participate in the new benchmarking cycle launched by the Consortium, which brings together member universities from around the world in a spirit of collaboration and mutual growth. This Consortium for Benchmarking Framework for Online, Open, Smart and Technology-enhanced Higher Education-led initiative aims to elevate educational standards and foster a community dedicated to excellence and innovation.

The data submission phase will run from 8 October to 8 November 2024, marking the beginning of an ambitious journey towards shaping the future of higher education. This phase will be followed by a thorough analysis of the data and the development of the Report on the Global Implementation of the Benchmarking Framework—a comprehensive document that will capture insights, best practices, and the collective achievements of our global network.

This year’s benchmarking will use the Benchmarking Framework with 38 indicators across six key dimensions, covering areas like teaching quality, student outcomes, and research impact. Participating universities can compare progress, share insights, and identify growth opportunities.
