Admission Staff Orientation on CHEDS data reporting by QA&IE Unit

On 20^th January 2023, the Dr. Asma Fatima Syeda, Associate Director and Manager Institutional Research at the QA&IE Unit gave an orientation workshop to the Admission Staff on the CHEDS (Center for Higher Education Data and Statistics) reporting process.

The session started with a brief overview on the importance of student data submission to CHEDS and highlighted the different datasets that are relevant to the Admissions department. The session covered detailed explanation on the key features of CHEDS data dictionary and their importance in implementing internal controls so that data being submitted is well aligned with CHEDS specifications. At the end of the workshop, Dr. Asma addressed the queries from the audience and provided clarifications in the light of CHEDS specifications.
