Dr. Abdu Sadik

Dr. Abdu Sadik is a passionate Assistant Professor with 5+ Years of teaching experience in the Department of General Education at Gulf Medical University, Ajman, UAE. He specializes in Emirati Studies, Islamic Culture and Civilization, Islamicate Manuscripts, Science in Islam, Arabs in the global context, Islamic Fundamental Studies, Ethical values of Islam, Middle Eastern Studies, Sustainability and Opportunity, Social Developments and cultural diversity in the UAE and region. Dr. Sadik received his Ph.D. in Islamic Studies in 2018 from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India. From 2014 to 2017, he was a Senior Research Fellow of the University Grants Commission of India.
Dr. Sadik obtained a DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) Fellowship in 2016 on “Muslims in the West” at the Chair of Muslim Cultural and Religious History, the University of Erfurt, Germany. He has several academic leadership experiences, and he was the coordinator of Online education. Dr. Sadik made distinguished scholarly contributions including many academic publications and has been constantly participating in conferences and academic research.
