Suraj Sebastian, IT Lecturer and e-Learning Manager at Gulf Medical University, recently conducted a Career Advising Session titled “Building a Portfolio” on Tuesday, 5th March 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM in Lecture Hall 2.
During the session, Suraj guided students on the essential steps for creating a well-structured portfolio, emphasizing its importance as part of their academic assessment. He explained how a strong portfolio can effectively showcase skills, achievements, and experiences, enhancing students’ professional profiles. Suraj also highlighted that a letter of recommendation from faculty members would be provided only upon the successful completion of the portfolio along with other required documents.
The session provided students with valuable insights on building impactful portfolios, helping them prepare for academic and career advancement.
