Overview
The workshop provides an introduction to basic bedside procedures routinely done in a healthcare environment. The participants will experience their learning in a true to life simulated work environment in a safe, monitored setup.
Objectives
At the end of this workshop, participants should be able to:
- Perform nasogastric intubation following universal precautions and aseptic technique
- Perform urinary catheterization following aseptic technique
- Demonstrate technique of endotracheal intubation
- Demonstrate technique of arterial puncture
- Interpret ABG results
