Dr. Ghaidaa Najjar, Delivers a Faculty Research Seminar “A Qualitative Case Study on Faculty and Administrators’ Perceptions About Interprofessional Education Effective Implementation and Sustainability”

On Friday, November 10th, the College of Pharmacy, Gulf Medical University hosted a Faculty Research Seminar featuring Dr. Ghaidaa Najjar, PharmD, PhD. Dr. Najjar, an Adjunct faculty/preceptor at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy and Lecturer/Adjunct faculty at Eugene Applebaum College of Health Sciences/Wayne State University, presented a qualitative case study on “Faculty and Administrators’ Perceptions about Interprofessional Education Effective Implementation and Sustainability.”

Dr. Najjar’s session delved into her qualitative case study, revealing faculty and administrators’ perspectives on implementing and sustaining Interprofessional Education. Key themes included challenges in curriculum integration, perceived benefits for collaborative skills, and institutional factors affecting sustainability. The Faculty Research Seminar concluded with a dynamic question and answer session, allowing attendees to engage directly with Dr. Najjar and further explore the implications of her research.
