Dr. Eman El-Labbad Speaks at The Interprofessional Global Café Session “Innovations and Updates from the United Arab Emirates”

On February 20, 2023, Dr. Eman El-Labbad Assistant Dean of Assessment and Evaluation, College of Pharmacy, Director Center of Interprofessional Education, Research, and Practice, Gulf Medical University presented on “Framework for Design, Implementation, and Evaluation of Patient-Centered Interprofessional Clinical Training at Gulf Medical University” as part of The Interprofessional Global Café Session on “Innovations and Updates from the United Arab Emirates.” The session was organized by the Global Confederation for Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Practice. https://interprofessional.global/ip-global-cafe-20-february-2023/

The session was moderated by Dr. Alla El-Awaisi, Director of Clinical Operations and Engagement, Qatar University, and Dr.  Anthony Breitbach, Professor and Vice Dean, Doisy College of Health Sciences, Saint Louis University.

Dr. Eman Commented “It was a great opportunity to network with IPE experts and share the practices of Gulf Medical University in designing and implementing longitudinal IPE curriculum with emphasis on framework of patient-centered interprofessional clinical training”.
