It was my great honor to serve as a judge for the 12th Undergraduate Research & Innovation Competition (URIC), held on May 29, 2025, at Abu Dhabi University, on Abu Dhabi Campus. I was selected to evaluate student research in Psychology alongside two distinguished experts in the discipline. I assessed more than 20 presentations from undergraduate students representing various universities across the UAE.
The research projects spanned diverse areas within Psychology, including Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology, and the emerging application of Artificial Intelligence in psychological assessment and intervention. The students demonstrated a solid understanding of scientific methodology and showed innovative approaches in addressing psychological challenges. Their work reflected a commendable level of academic rigor and a promising potential for future contributions to the field.
