Suraj Sebastian, IT Lecturer and e-Learning Manager at Gulf Medical University, recently conducted a webinar titled “Using Reference Management Software” on October 3rd 2024 at 3:30 PM. This session was designed to help students streamline their referencing process by introducing popular reference management tools such as EndNote, Mendeley, and Zotero.
The webinar followed an earlier session on the “Importance of Referencing and Citations in Academic Writing”, ensuring students were already familiar with the significance of referencing, citation styles (including APA), and best practices in academic writing. Suraj’s session provided practical demonstrations on how to effectively use these tools to manage citations, organize research materials, and simplify bibliography creation.
The webinar offered valuable guidance to students, equipping them with essential skills to enhance their academic writing and research efficiency.
