Suraj Sebastian, IT Lecturer and e-Learning Manager at Gulf Medical University, recently led a workshop titled “Transforming Online Learning & Campus Management” organized by the E-Learning Center. The session took place on Friday, December 6th, 2024, in Lecture Hall 2.
During the workshop, Suraj introduced practical ways to improve online teaching using advanced Zoom features that make virtual classrooms more engaging and effective. He also shared strategies for managing lecture hall bookings efficiently to ensure better use of resources. Suraj explained how faculty can use new tools to track classroom usage in real-time, improving space management and daily workflows. A key highlight was the discussion on AI integration in Zoom, where he demonstrated how AI can help simplify scheduling, improve teaching methods, and provide useful insights for better decision-making.
The session provided faculty members with valuable tips to enhance their teaching practices and improve campus operations.
