The wellbeing of the university students is crucial not only for their academic success but also for their overall development and future contributions to society. A culture of wellbeing within universities promotes a sense of belonging, inclusivity, and support, which enhances the overall campus environment.

The Students Wellbeing Center in GMU hosted its inaugural event, Support Student Well-being: Thriving Together, on November 7, 2024, in the university foyer. This event was designed to create a supportive environment for students and encourage open discussions on mental health and well-being.

The Student Wellbeing Center officers organized a variety of engaging activities, including poster making, storytelling, and conscious awareness tests. The primary goal was to raise awareness about the Students Wellbeing Center, its responsibilities, and the services it offers to students.

The officers, well-trained in achieving the objectives of the event, worked diligently to ensure that students left with a better understanding of available resources and how to access support.
