On November 7th, 2023, the QA&IE unit delivered a comprehensive workshop to the College of Nursing students. The primary objective of the workshop was to introduce these students to the E-portfolio application developed by the QA&IE and provide them with practical guidance on its usage. The distinguished speakers for the event were Prof. Sherief Khalifa, Vice Chancellor of Quality Assurance and Institutional Effectiveness, and Prof. Ibrahim Elsayed, Director of Quality Assurance and Institutional Effectiveness (QA&IE). The session’s also aimed to equip nursing students with practical insights for integrating the E-portfolio into their academic and professional journey. Prof. Sherief Khalifa and Prof. Ibrahim Elsayed, as speakers, actively demonstrated the importance and functionalities of the E-portfolio application, specifically tailored for students in the healthcare field.
This collaborative initiative underscores the commitment of the QA&IE Unit to seamlessly integrate technology across all levels of health professions education at Gulf Medical University.
