In order to strengthen the role of GMU students as committee members, class representatives, and student council members, the Colleges of Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Nursing recently hosted a leadership skills course on October 3rd and October 10th, 2023.
Approximately 30 students, involved in various college committees and leadership positions, participated in this course. Its purpose was to equip them with essential leadership skills to handle various responsibilities within their academic communities effectively.
The successful completion of this leadership skills course reflects the students’ dedication to become more impactful in their roles as committee members, class representatives, and student council members. It also underscores the commitment of GMU and its colleges to empower students to positively influence the academic environment.
As we reflect on this event, we extend our gratitude to all participants, facilitators, and committee members who contributed to its success. GMU’s academic community looks ahead with optimism, as well-prepared leaders are ready to make a positive impact and enrich the student experience.
