A workshop introducing the new Digital Minuting System was organized by the QA&IE Unit on the 12th of December 2021. The session was facilitated by Prof. Sherief Khalifa, Vice Chancellor for Quality and Global Engagement and Dr. Muhammad Al-Shorbagy, Associate Professor of Pharmacology & Toxicology.

Prof. Sherief Khalifa introduced the newly developed digital minuting system and explained how minutes constitute a cornerstone for the work of quality either as evidence or for tracking and following up on various tasks. Then, Dr. Shorbagy explained the gap analysis addressed by the new system towards the current digital archiving system. He also elaborated on the signature features in the new system and how it can generate endless reports for follow up and tracking. He also highlighted the importance of the built-in search engine that can pinpoint any decision with multiple search criteria. Further, a live demo was carried out on the system that is now integrated to the QA&IE portal.
