This year’s edition of the biggest inter school Annual Medical and Science Exhibition GMU MASE, is set to break all previous records. During the ongoing pandemic situation, we have launched a new theme of MASE competition which is completely online for all the schools across UAE.
Compete online and winners will get individual cash prizes for their contributions.
Students are invited to showcase online project works, videos of working models, MASE talks , Digital paintings , Photography contest, posters ( Digital or Normal paper based) and win exciting cash prizes.
The ‘Annual Medical Science Exhibition GMU MASE 2020’ will be held in October 2020 through online MASE portal. The event offers students a chance to display their talent in innovations in science.
GMU MASE is held every year under the guidance of Mr. Thumbay Moideen, Founder President of the university and under the supervision of the academic leadership of all the constituent colleges of Gulf Medical University.
The university management rewards the students with cash prizes and recognizes their talent. Over 1500 projects including models and posters are expected this year. Every year students from over 45 schools from all over UAE visit the exhibition. This year more than 5000 students are expected to visit the online event, according to the organizing committee. Like last year, this year’s event includes a painting competition (digital and canvas based) for the students.
The main objective of the event is to provide a platform for the high school students to display their talents in the field of medicine , Dentistry , Pharmacy , Health sciences, Nursing or Business ideas and to provide them with complete career path. The event also encourages the students in getting involved in the profession of Medicine and Healthcare and provides a fair chance to create a competitive environment for students to come out with excellent results. The exhibition provides tools for developing, organizing, and supporting an assessment exhibition that allows students at the middle and high school levels to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in relation to science and technology.
The event will culminate with a prize distribution ceremony on 15th November 2020, where a lot of prizes will be given away to the winners in Projects, Poster & Painting categories. This year the cash prizes worth more than AED 25,000 are up for grabs on individual basis. The projects will be judged by an expert panel consisting of faculty members from the university on individual basis. There are special prizes given to schools with maximum participation.
