Gulf Medical University (GMU), Ajman — The Aspire to Become a Doctor (ABD) program coordinated by the Thumbay Institute of Clinical Simulation (TICS) concluded successfully, providing young aspirants with comprehensive exposure across multiple healthcare disciplines, setting the foundation for informed career choices and future academic success.
The program went beyond traditional career exploration — offering hands-on skill development across medicine, research & laboratory sciences, nursing, pharmacy, dentistry, physiotherapy, HDPCS, medical imaging, anaesthesia technology, healthcare management, and artificial intelligence in healthcare.

- Dental moulage & oral assessment
- Physiotherapy rehabilitation and ergonomics

- Leadership and operations in healthcare management
- AI-driven medical applications & data insights
By integrating real-world clinical environments, expert-led teaching, and interactive simulations, ABD empowered students with a clear purpose, professional confidence, and an awareness of diverse career pathways across the healthcare ecosystem.
