The Thumbay College of Management and AI in Healthcare, Gulf Medical University, successfully organized an online guest session on Zoom for the HRH 305 – Human Resource Management in Healthcare Organizations course on Thursday, November 20, 2025.
The session, organized and coordinated by Dr. Bidisha Banerjee, featured Mr. Priyangshu Mahanta, a Strategic Global HR Leader with over 12 years of experience in driving organizational growth and transformation across the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. Delivering a talk on “Human Resource Management Practices in the Middle East,” Mr. Mahanta shared valuable insights into contemporary HR strategies, talent management, and the evolving workforce landscape in the region.
The interactive session provided students with practical industry perspectives, bridging academic concepts with real-world HR practices and enriching their understanding of healthcare human resource management. The session was moderated by Dr. Bidisha Banerjee, who facilitated engaging discussions and encouraged active student participation.
