As the Joint Secretary of College Of Medicine I have to ensure to have good and direct communication with the COM class representatives and the Dean of COM, and get to represent the views, ideas & any doubts and concerns of the students and most importantly to be their voice. Hopefully I will benefit them and I will prioritize their concerns and find out effective ways to solve them with the college. I will always be there to help and support the students as well as to ensure that everything runs effectively amongst them.

I’m honored to be a part of the executive board of the student council as a joint secretary of the college of dentistry.
A joint secretary’s duty requires time management skills and the ability to convey information efficiently. I enjoy working as part of a team and I believe this role will help me further shape my character into somebody who can lead and inspire those around me. Everyone is equal hence should be treated rightfully. Providing students help in a manner to improves them academically and socially would be one of my top priorities. I’m Yoanna, a third-year PharmD student. I’m honored to be representing the college of pharmacy as the joint secretary of pharmacy for this academic year and to be part of a great fundamental group to our university like the student council. I’ll be keen to fulfill all the expected responsibilities of mine and be worthy of such a position.
I’ll always prioritize listening to all the students’ requests and do the best of my abilities to help them, I’ll also strive to build a bridge between the college of pharmacy and all the other colleges in GMU to create an inclusive, diverse and engaged community. Its my honor to have the position as Joint secretary of the college of health sciences. Since the first day of joining the university, I have been thriving for joining this council. I am always ready to help our students and over the past year, I have come across different opinions and suggestions from students about their issues. Therefore, I will encourage the students to feel confident to voice their ideas and together help make a change for the current and the future years. Once again, I feel very honored to be a part of this council and will always do my best not to disappoint.

It’s such an honor to be the nursing joint secretary. Being the voice of all nursing students in Gulf Medical University is a big responsibility that I’m willing to take. It’s a great opportunity to be the connection bridge between the nursing family and the other colleges. I will always do my best to support the students and find the best solution of their issues.

I am truly honored to be elected as the joint secretary of the college of healthcare management and economics this year. I have been a part of several leadership positions in the past, which has helped me develop and refine skills like communication, problem solving and teamwork. I’m extremely passionate about helping my peers and to be a good leader. My main goal is to ensure that the students are content, hence, I hope to voice their opinions and represent my college in the most effective way possible. It is my pleasure to obtain this opportunity of playing such an important role and hope to make positive changes for our present and future students. I feel very grateful to be involved in the executive board at a wonderful institution like Gulf Medical University and hope to make incredible memories with all it’s members in the upcoming year!

I’m honoured to be part of this team of great members. It is my pleasure to have the position of Treasurer this year, the 4th year male MBBS Class Representative, as well as be on the executive board of student council, all for the first time. I am so excited and cannot wait to begin working and aiming for a successful and bright year ahead with my colleagues and everyone else at GMU! My aim to provide support and help the students and make sure that everything takes place smoothly between the Students and the University in terms of their financial needs and any relevant concerns. It is an honor and my pleasure to be the first IT Officer and a part of the executive board. I have been a class representative for three years now, and I have always been looking for ways to increase every student’s quality of life when it comes to communication and information exchange.
