On 21st June 2022, GMU celebrated International Yoga Day, shedding light on the immense benefits and significance of yoga. The event emphasized how yoga has evolved to be not only a source of physical wellbeing but also a pathway to harmonizing the mind, body, and soul.
Mr. Kumar Srinivasa Kota, a certified Yoga Wellness Professional, graciously led the session, organized by the Human Resources department. The gathering, comprising 25 faculty and staff members, was treated to Mr. Kumar’s insights into the science and origins of yoga. This was followed by hands-on guidance on breathing techniques and rejuvenating yoga poses.
The session resonated with positivity, allowing participants to let go of stress and embark on a journey to holistic wellness. It was a reaffirmation of the importance of such practices in today’s fast-paced world.
