Mr. Mohamed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Al Ain University. Earlier in his research career, he worked on transdermal nanoparticle-based drug delivery systems and conducted biological investigations of phytochemicals and novel synthetic compounds in pancreatic and colorectal cancer. During this time, he explored key cellular processes, including autophagic cell death, apoptosis, and cellular senescence.

Mr. Mohamed is currently pursuing a dual PhD in Precision Medicine at Gulf Medical University (GMU) and Université Paris-Saclay, where his research focuses on ferroptosis in cancer under hypoxic conditions, with particular emphasis on identifying key drivers associated with ferroptosis resistance.
