
Teaching Assistant, Clinical Tutor
Dr. Waddah Janoudi is a medical graduate from Gulf Medical University, Ajman, where he earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2022. During his studies, he gained a strong academic foundation, completing research on the prevalence, knowledge, and contributing factors of Text Neck Syndrome among university students.
His clinical training encompassed comprehensive rotations at Thumbay University Hospital and Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC), including Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Psychiatry, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Intensive Care. Dr. Waddah further consolidated his practical experience by completing a year-long internship at SSMC, during which he conducted an audit on surgical site infections within the Obstetrics and Gynecology department.
Following his internship, he pursued additional clinical development through a four-month observership in Internal Medicine at SSMC.
Currently, Dr. Waddah works as a PBL facilitator for medical students at GMU, taking the first steps in his academic and professional career. He is committed to furthering his education and aims to join a residency program in the future.
