
Teaching Assistant, Clinical Tutor
Dr. Samreen Fathima currently serves as a Clinical Tutor at Gulf Medical University. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the same university and completed her internship under Emirates Health Services, gaining comprehensive clinical experience across multiple specialties. She holds Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and has completed courses in Basic Surgical Skills and Basic Orthopedic Skills. She has also co-authored a research study on the prevalence and psychological impact of cyberbullying among adolescents, published in a peer-reviewed journal. She is also deeply committed to community well-being and has actively participated in various volunteering initiatives organized by healthcare authorities to promote public health awareness.
In her current role, she is actively engaged in facilitating clinical skills training and Problem-Based Learning (PBL) sessions, guiding students to effectively integrate theoretical knowledge into clinical practice. Dr. Samreen remains dedicated to advancing medical education, fostering a supportive, interactive learning environment, and continually advancing her own career while inspiring students to cultivate compassion and clinical excellence.
