Dr. Mehzabin Ahmed is currently an Instructor in Biomedical Science at the College of Medicine, Gulf Medical University, Ajman. She graduated from Bangalore University, Bangalore, and received her Graduate Diploma in Clinical Pathology from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, India. She has also completed her Graduate Diploma in Health Professions Education from Gulf Medical University.
She has experience of 18 years teaching in a traditional as well as an integrated curriculum. Curriculum design and planning, Teaching- Learning strategies, and Student Assessments are her fields of interest. She is currently involved in the facilitation of Problem Based Learning, mentoring, and coordinating some activities of the College of Medicine.
She has been awarded “Best Demonstrator” in 2008. She has presented and published research articles in medical education. She also has several appreciation certificates awarded for participation and contributions in conferences and workshops.
