Dr. Manju A. Nair is an experienced nursing educator and academic leader with over 21 years of teaching experience in nursing education and four years of clinical leadership as a Nursing Supervisor. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (1995), a Master of Science in Nursing (2000) from MAHE, Manipal, and PhD in Nursing Management (2016), offering a strong blend of clinical expertise, academic leadership, and administrative competence.
Dr. Nair has played a key role in BSN and MSN program accreditation and renewal, including service on the ACEN steering committee, and is actively involved in curriculum design, student mentoring, faculty development, and competency-based training.
Her core strengths include nursing education and curriculum development, academic and clinical leadership, accreditation and quality assurance (CAA and ACEN), research supervision, and scholarly publications. She has successfully guided undergraduate and postgraduate research projects and has contributed to evidence-based nursing education through publications in reputed international journals.
Dr. Nair’s academic career includes appointments as Assistant Professor and Senior Lecturer at RAK Medical and Health Sciences University, as well as Lecturer and Clinical Instructor at the College of Nursing, MAHE, Manipal. Clinically, she served as Nursing Supervisor at Saqr Hospital, Ministry of Health, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, demonstrating strong leadership in hospital nursing services.
She has completed short-term professional courses including ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Training in Quality Management Systems and Statistics and Research Methodology from Ajman Medical College, UAE. Her achievements include recognition as an Undergraduate and Postgraduate Research Guide, being a Guest Speaker on “Impact of Concept Maps on Learning”, and acknowledgment by Web of Science as a Peer Reviewer for SAGE Journals and Program Learning Outcomes. She has also moderated several national and international conferences.
Dr. Nair has been honored with the “10 Years of Distinguished Service Award” from RAK Medical and Health Sciences University (2019). Her commitment to excellence in nursing education, research, and quality assurance continues to contribute significantly to the advancement of the nursing profession.
