Dr. Mahveen Nishat is a committed healthcare professional who earned her MBBS degree from Gulf Medical University, Ajman and completed her medical internship with Emirates Health Services rotating through various departments. She further strengthened her clinical training through elective rotations at Al Qassimi Hospital and American Hospital, Dubai. She holds certifications in Good Clinical Practise (GCP), Basic Life Support (BLS), and has completed training courses in Basic Surgical Skills and Basic Orthopedic Skills. She is also actively involved in Medical Research and publications, and has also participated in various volunteering initiatives to promote public health awareness.
Currently, Dr. Mahveen serves as a Clinical Tutor and Problem-Based Learning (PBL) Facilitator at Gulf Medical University and as a Clinical Instructor at Thumbay University Hospital, where she actively contributes to undergraduate medical education through clinical instruction, facilitation of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) sessions, and support of assessment and curriculum delivery, with a focus on promoting clinical competence, critical thinking, and professional development among medical students.
