Dr. Esraa Mohammed Abd El-Samie Ismail has earned her Bachelor’s, Master and Ph.D degrees in Paediatric Nursing from Alexandria University and built a distinguished career combining academic teaching, clinical practice, and research. She served in multiple academic and administrative capacities, including Course Coordinator, Clinical Trainer, Academic Advisor, and Manager of the Alumni Affairs Unit. She was actively involved in the college’s successful attainment of international accreditation from the German accreditation body (AHPGS) in February 2025.

Dr. Esraa Mohammed is a Certified Health Information System Trainer accredited by ICDL Arabia, a Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor, and a Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) Assessor. Her work reflected a strong commitment to quality assurance, evidence-based education, and student development.

She participated and organized numerous workshops, seminars, and training programs on paediatric and neonatal care, life support, and patient safety. Her leadership extended to community service initiatives, such as public health campaigns, awareness programs, and professional development workshops for nurses and students.

Dr. Ismail’s research contributions focused on paediatric and neonatal nursing, with several studies published in leading international journals including BMC Nursing and Journal of Neonatal Nursing. Her research explored innovative approaches in paediatric pain management, neonatal care, maternal-infant health, and clinical competency enhancement.

She has supervised postgraduate research projects addressing critical issues such as nurse competencies, neonatal outcomes, and adolescent health behaviours. Her scholarly work demonstrated a strong focus on improving healthcare quality through evidence-based practice and applied research.

Throughout her career, Dr. Esraa Ismail demonstrated exceptional dedication to teaching, research, and community engagement, leaving a lasting impact on paediatric nursing education and professional practice.
