Dr. Eman Hassan is an Assistant Professor and Specialist (Pathology), Department of Biomedical Sciences at Gulf Medical University, UAE from 2016 onwards.
She graduated from Faculty of Medicine, Al-Azhar University, Egypt. She has done her postgraduate studies and received her MSc & Ph.D. degree from Faculty of Medicine, Al-Azhar University, Egypt.
She has experience of 19 years teaching in a traditional as well as an integrated curriculum and actively involved in small group teaching (PBL, VPL & TBL).
She is a lead faculty and chairperson for Pathology and integrated courses for MD, MBBS, BBMS, Medical laboratory science, Nursing, physiotherapy & Health Care Management and Economics Program.
Dr. Eman believes that the greatest skill an instructor has is the ability to build a strong relationship with his/ her students that is grounded on mutual respect and collaborative learning. This encourages students asking her about their doubts and allows them to understand the topic.
She got the MOH Doctor Evaluation certificate as a Specialist Anatomic Pathology, Ministry of Health, UAE, 2016.
She is interested in organizing community engagement activities and students’ symposium. She has attended many international conferences, training courses and workshops.
Dr. Eman is a supervisor for undergraduate and postgraduate students’ research projects. She has several publications in various international and national indexed journals and her research areas of interest are Thyroid, Endometrium, GIT and Breast Pathology.
