Dr. Asem Mhmndar is a dedicated and enthusiastic medical graduate of Gulf Medical University (MBBS, Class of 2024) who combines strong clinical knowledge with a passion for teaching and academic excellence.
During his undergraduate studies, he demonstrated outstanding academic performance across system-based courses and actively contributed to the Peer Guide and Peer-Assisted Learning programs, mentoring fellow students and enhancing their clinical competencies.
He gained extensive clinical exposure across diverse healthcare settings, training at Thumbay University Hospital, American Hospital Dubai, and King’s College Hospital London – Dubai during his undergraduate years, and completing his internship at Thumbay University Hospital. Dr. Mhmndar has authored and co-authored several research publications, including “Stress among Healthcare Providers who Treat COVID-19 Patients” and “Beyond the Pentad: A Lethal Presentation of TTP with Multiorgan Involvement.”
In addition to his research and teaching endeavors, he has participated in numerous community health campaigns and medical outreach programs, reflecting a strong commitment to patient education and preventive medicine.
Dedicated to inspiring future healthcare professionals, he emphasizes evidence-based learning, clinical reasoning, and compassionate care in his teaching approach.
He currently serves as a Tutor in the Department of Clinical Sciences, College of Medicine, Gulf Medical University, contributing to the academic and clinical training of undergraduate medical students.
