Dr. Aliaa A. Mostafa is a Professor of Pediatrics and Pediatric Consultant with over 20 years of clinical, academic, and research experience in Pediatrics and Neonatology. She earned her MBBS, Master of Pediatrics, and MD in Pediatrics from the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University.

Her clinical expertise includes the management of pediatric patients and high-risk neonates in the NICU, including follow-up care for NICU graduates. Her skills include neonatal resuscitation, infant pulmonary function testing, and RetCam imaging for retinopathy of prematurity (ROP).

A committed educator, Dr. Aliaa mentors undergraduate and postgraduate students, residents, and house officers through bedside rounds, skills workshops, and academic discussions, fostering clinical excellence and active research involvement.

She has authored over 20 peer-reviewed publications in international journals, with research focused on neonatal infections, ROP, respiratory disorders, and biomarker-based predictive models. She is certified in BLS, PALS, and NRP and actively contributes to national and international conferences, curriculum development, and quality improvement initiatives.

Her work reflects a dedication to advancing pediatric and neonatal care through clinical excellence, innovative research, teaching and academic leadership.
