Dr. Beryl Juliet Sam has more than 20 years of Professional teaching experience with UG & PG students.
She is a certified Simulation Trainer at the SIMEDUCON Workshop at CMC, Vellore and Trainer in Facility Based Newborn Care and Quality Improvement by the Indian Association of Neonatal Nurses. She has also completed 3T-IHBSc Course for Health Sciences Faculty – The Indian Program of the UNESCO Chair in Bioethics (Haifa). She is also a certified BLS/ACLS Trainer.
She is the Editorial Member in the “International Journal of Pediatric Nursing”, the “International Journal of Orthopedic Nursing” and Contributory Author in “The Nurse”. She is a Life member of Professional organizations like the TNAI – Trained Nurses Association of India and IANN – Indian Association of Neonatal Nurses.
She has been Faculty, Moderator and Resource person in several workshops and conferences and has organized many workshops and conferences. Has been member of the Inspection Committee and External Examiner of the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai, India and Examiner in The Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, India.
She was awarded Pramod Bajaj Shield for the Best model on “Primary Health Care” by TNAI and received Best Scientific Paper award at a National Conference in Tamil Nadu, India.
She received an Award of Appreciation for the Best Scientific Poster on “Screening and Identification of Risk of Behavioral Problems among School Children by Class Teachers” In the “National E- Conclave on Research Designs” held in India in September 2021.
Her Scientific paper on “Identification of Learning Styles among Undergraduate Nursing Students” was published in the International Journal of Health Sciences in June 2022.
