Dr. Ahmed Salloum

Assistant Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

DDSc (Cranio-maxillofacial Surgery) – Alexandria University, Egypt

Dr. Salloum is an assistant professor of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He graduated from the faculty of Dentistry, Alexandria University, then served as a resident in the oral and Maxillofacial surgery in Alexandria university hospitals providing teaching and clinical training in Oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Then he granted a Master’s degree in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery in the maxillofacial trauma and management of facial fractures, then he had a clinical attachment in hospitals of North wales, the United Kingdom, and obtained the membership degree from the Royal college of surgeons in Edinburgh (UK), Moreover, Dr.salloum is  interested in the field of clinical education and he conducted many workshops and scientific days for the undergraduate students as well as the interns and trainees in Oral and maxillofacial Surgery field.

Dr. Salloum has a passion of the cranio-maxillofacial surgery practice then he obtained his medical degree from the faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University and then Obtained a Doctorate degree (The Role of semi-buried distractor in the management of craniosynostosis) in the Cranio-maxillofacial and Plastic surgery from Alexandria University. With special interest in management of craniofacial deformities, facial trauma, orthognathic surgery.

Before moving to the UAE, Dr. Salloum was working as assistant professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery in Misr University for science and technology as well as consultant of Craniomaxillofacial surgery in Soad Kafafi Memorial hospital and Hospitals of Ministry of Health.

Dr. Salloum is actively involved in international congresses as a speaker and conducted workshops and courses, he is designated as member in the European Association of Craniomaxillofacial Surgery EACMFS.
