PharmD Students at The College of Pharmacy Won Second Place Award at the Fourth Al Ain University of Health and Biomedical Postgraduate Symposium

PharmD. Students from the College of Pharmacy at Gulf Medical University (GMU) actively participated in the Fourth AAU Health and Biomedical Postgraduate Symposium, held at Al Ain University, where they showcased outstanding research achievements and academic excellence. The symposium brought together postgraduate students from across the UAE to present innovative research in health, biomedical sciences, clinical pharmacy, and pharmaceutical practice. PharmD students Salama Alhammadi, Jude Hamzeh Maala, and Alya Ali Arasteh received the second place in the oral presentation supervised by Dr. Diana Malaeb for the project titled “Attitudes and Beliefs About Cardiovascular Disease, Personality Functioning, and Nutrition Literacy: A Cross-Sectional Study in an Arab Population”.

These achievements underscore the College of Pharmacy’s strong commitment to fostering research, innovation, and scholarly excellence, and reflect Gulf Medical University’s ongoing dedication to preparing future leaders in pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences.
