Gulf Medical University’s Pharmacy students proudly achieved First Place in the “DUPHAT Student Competition” organized during the 31st edition of the Dubai International Pharmaceuticals and Technologies Conference and Exhibition (DUPHAT), held in Dubai from August 25 to 27, 2026.
The scientific competition featured pharmacy students from 10 national and international universities, evaluated across three competitional rounds. GMU pharmacy students Ayah Al-Zubi, Mohammed Haseeb, Rimmi Sara George, Muhammad Wasim, Fatima Alzahraa Alothman, and Miriam Ihab demonstrated exceptional academic excellence and competency to capture the top rank.
DUPHAT represents a cornerstone event in the pharmaceutical industry bringing together leading manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, pharmacists, healthcare professionals, educators, and students from across the UAE and the region to showcase innovative research in health, biomedical sciences, clinical pharmacy, and pharmaceutical practice.
The active participation of our students in the various DUPHAT scientific activities and their outstanding achievements underscore the College of Pharmacy’s strong commitment to fostering quality of pharmacy education and scholarly excellence, and reflecting the Gulf Medical University’s ongoing dedication to preparing future leaders in pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences.
