The College of Pharmacy proudly congratulates Joane Rahman, Rita Zaki, Alhasan Mohammed, and Fatimah Adel, GMU PharmD 4th year students for securing Third Place at The First National Pharmacist Conference 2025 (Poster Presentation). The students’ award-winning poster presentation, titled “Assessment of Adherence to VTE Prophylaxis in the Intensive Care Unit: A Retrospective, Observational Study”, was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Ahmad El Ouweini, Clinical Lecturer at Pharmacy Practice Department and Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist at Gulf Medical University.
This achievement reflects the high standards of research and innovation promoted within the PharmD program at GMU. It also showcases the university’s dedication to nurturing future clinicians who contribute to advancements in Pharmacy Practice.
