In honour of the World AMR Awareness Week (WAAW), GPSA-UAE organized an Inter-Professional Case Presentation on Antimicrobial Awareness with participation from the College of Medicine, College of Nursing, and College of Healthcare Management and Economics.
The students from the participating colleges, Mr. Mohammed Majdoub (CoP), Ms. Arhana Alon (CoN), Ms. Leen Jaghel (CoM) and Ms. Layal Ehab Eshaq (CoHME) approached the case through an inter-disciplinary lens and worked together to interpret it. The students definitely gained an appreciation for inter-professional relationships and how it can positively impact patients’ experience and the quality of healthcare delivered.
