On June 24, 2026, two faculty members from the Gulf Medical University (GMU) College of Pharmacy shared their expertise at the Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Paramedical Sciences College of Pharmacy, Coimbatore, India.
Prof. Dixon Thomas, of GMU, delivered an insightful lecture on Qualitative Research in Clinical Pharmacy, highlighting the importance of methodological rigor, patient-centered inquiry, and the role of qualitative evidence in advancing pharmacy practice. His session emphasized how qualitative approaches enrich clinical decision-making and educational innovation in health professions.
Dr. Seeba Zachariah, Clinical Pharmacy faculty at GMU, presented on Statins & Dyslipidemia Guidelines 2026. Her lecture provided an evidence-based update on lipid management, focusing on the latest international recommendations, therapeutic strategies, and the pharmacist’s role in optimizing cardiovascular outcomes.
