On November 2, 2025, during the GCC Pharmacy Congress held in Dubai, Dr. Diana Malaeb, faculty member at the College of Pharmacy, Gulf Medical University, conducted an engaging and interactive workshop titled “Fundamentals of Health Research,” in collaboration with Dr. Heba Mohamad.
The session aimed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of research design, methodology, and strategic approaches essential for producing high-quality health research. Through practical examples, group discussions, and real-world applications, Dr. Malaeb guided attendees, comprising mainly healthcare professionals on how to translate clinical observations into well-structured research questions.
The workshop highlighted the significance of critical thinking, evidence-based practice, and distinguishing between different research designs, inspiring participants to contribute to the advancement of healthcare knowledge and innovation across the Gulf region.
