We are delighted to share an outstanding scholarly achievement by our faculty and alumni through their contribution to two book chapters in the Encyclopedia of Pharmacy Practice and Clinical Pharmacy, Second Edition 2026.

These chapters were co-authored by Dr. Diana Malaeb (Associate Professor, Department of Pharmacy Practice), Dr. Jisha Lucca (Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacy Practice), Dr. Ruth Alex (Preceptor, Department of Pharmacy Practice), Dr. Hadel Al Zuabi (Teaching Assistant, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences), and Ms. May Gamal (Alumna, Master in Clinical Pharmacy Program), in collaboration with international authors. This accomplishment reflects the valuable contributions and professional collaboration of our team in advancing pharmacy education and clinical practice.
This new edition of the textbook reflects the remarkable transformation of pharmacy practice over recent years. It brings together contemporary evidence, global perspectives, and practical insights across clinical pharmacy and pharmaceutical care, as well as medication safety, digital health, artificial intelligence, pharmacoeconomics, public health, policy, and other emerging areas shaping the profession.
