Serving as the cornerstone for the club’s future leadership, this democratic event brought students together to vote for the executive board members who will lead the upcoming 2026–2027 academic mandate.
The assembly was charged with energy as candidates stepped forward to deliver compelling speeches, articulating their visions, passion, and strategic plans for the club. With multiple students contesting the positions, the audience was tasked with the critical responsibility of casting their votes to shape the organization’s next chapter.
Following a competitive and inspiring round of presentations and voting, the newly elected executive board for the 2026–2027 mandate was officially announced:
- President: Ananya Naik
- Projects Officer: Rachel Sera Barboza
- Media Officer: Kashhish Shamoon Shaikh
- External Relations Officer: Karam Ahmed Meki
- Student Engagement Officer: Shifana Banu
- Treasurer: Fathima Zulfa
By entrusting these individuals with their respective roles, the GMU-IVPN student body has laid a strong foundation for a year of impactful healthcare advocacy, professional development, and community outreach. The General Assembly successfully demonstrated the club’s commitment to leadership, transparency, and peer empowerment. Near the end of the event, the top 3 members of the club were rewarded with a certificate as an appreciation for their efforts throughout the academic year.
This transition of responsibilities and leadership marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter, as the newly elected officers prepare to elevate the club’s mission and continue bridging the gap between medical science and the community.
