Dr. Eman El-Labbad Presents A Scientific Research Webinar at The Waterfalls Initiative For Continuous Education “From Uae To The World”

On 23rd May 2021, Dr. Eman El-Labbad, Assistant Professor of Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences Department, Director of Student Happiness Center, College of Pharmacy, Gulf Medical University presented a live scientific research webinar on the “The Role of In Silico Simulation in Drug Design and Development of Antiviral Protease Inhibitors “,  as part of College of Pharmacy, Gulf Medical University contribution in the waterfalls initiative for continuous education, DUPHAT_UAE Webinar series.

During the session, Dr. El-Labbad provided insights on successful drug design strategies in development of antiviral protease inhibitors in order to share with the audience learning lessons from past to drive future research projects tackling SARs-CoV-2 protease. The webinar also outlined a suggested roadmap for research in drug discovery project integrating rational and in silico drug design.
