GMU Pharmacy Students and Alumni Achieve Global Recognition within IPSF

The United Arab Emirates Pharmacy Students Federation (UPSF) at Gulf Medical University proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of its members and alumni who have been selected to serve in official IPSF Global and Regional Subcommittees for the upcoming mandate.

  • Ms. Nikita Sunil Binu, a fifth-year PharmD student, has been accepted into the IPSF Training Committee, where she will contribute to advancing global capacity-building and professional development initiatives.
  • Ms. Ruqaiya Sahrish, a fifth-year PharmD student, has been selected for both the IPSF Constitutional Working Committee and the IPSF EMRO Regional Relations Committee, reflecting her active involvement in governance affairs and regional collaboration efforts.
  • Ms. Sumaiya Mohsin, a fifth-year PharmD student, has been accepted into the IPSF EMRO Regional Relations Committee, where she will contribute to strengthening collaboration and partnerships across the Eastern Mediterranean Region.

Adding to this success, Ms. Ghenwa Ghayad, a proud GMU Pharmacy alumna from the Class of 2020, has been officially elected as the Regional Media and Publications Officer under IPSF EMRO (Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office), where she will oversee regional communication and publication initiatives.

These accomplishments highlight the continued excellence and global impact of GMU’s pharmacy community, showcasing the leadership, creativity, and dedication of its students and graduates within the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (IPSF).
