World Mental Health Day, observed annually on October 10th, is a global initiative dedicated to raising awareness and fostering collective action to support mental well-being. The theme for 2025, “Access to Services: Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies” underscores the critical need for accessible mental health services, particularly during times of crisis such as natural disasters, conflicts, pandemics, or other emergencies.
The planned activities are aligned with SDC 3- Well-being (Good Health and Well-being), reflecting our institutional commitment to mental health advocacy. By participating in this global movement, we underscore our dedication to nurturing a mentally healthy environment and contributing to the broader Sustainable Development Goals aimed at enhancing well-being and quality of life for all.
