On September 25th, 2025, the White Coat Ceremony 2025 was held to officially welcome the new class of freshman students into the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. This event marks the students’ formal induction into the esteemed Nursing profession.
Dr. Thumaby Moideen, President, Thumbay Group, Prof. Manada Venkataramana, Chancellor, Prof. Hesham Marei, Vice-Chancellor, and Prof. Selva Titus Chacko, Dean CoN, extended their good wishes by participating in the event.
Representing the first-year BSN students, Ms. Fatma Mohamed Obaid Taimoor Al Ali (2025NS31) and Mr. Shreyas Bejoy (2025NS18) received their white coats from the Honourable President, Dr. Thumbay Moideen. Following this, all students donned their white coats, marking their official induction into the nursing profession. Together, they took an oath, reminding them of their duty to serve humankind.
The program was live streamed on GMU’s YouTube channel for parents and families to participate. It was a proud occasion for Gulf Medical University, students, and parents.
