Emirates Health Services hosted the Nursing & Midwifery Professional Development Conference on the theme “Empowering Professional Development with Innovation and Clinical Educator Excellence,” on 16–17 September, from 08:00 am to 05:00 pm at Moven Pick Hotel Jumeirah Beach in Dubai.

This two-day event brought together nursing leaders, educators, and practitioners to explore transformative strategies in nursing education and clinical practice. The conference showcased success stories, fostered collaboration, and drove innovation in advancing the profession.

We are proud to share that Prof. Selva Titus Chacko, Dean, College of Nursing, served as a distinguished panelist in the session on “Innovation and Emerging Technologies: Rethinking Professional Development for Nurses and Midwives.”

Dr. Mary Walton, Assistant Professor, delivered a paper presentation on “Interprofessional Education Collaborative Initiatives,” and Dr. Ponchitra Ramanathan, Associate Professor, contributed with her paper on “Effective, Efficient and Engaging (E3): E-learning System.”

This conference promised two enriching days of knowledge-sharing, inspiration, and innovation for the nursing and midwifery community.
