The Government of Tamil Nadu Tamil Nadu, Department of Health & Family Welfare & The Dr. MGR Medical University conducted an International Conference FOM 2.0 at Chennai Trade Centre, Tamil Nadu, India from October 16th to 18th 2025 for all faculty, & students of Medical, Dental, Nursing, Pharmacy, AYUSH, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Allied Health Sciences of the State to exchange ideas, knowledge, and latest advance.
The conference featured exceptional scientific sessions led by 30 international and 100 national and regional experts. It included simulation-based hands-on workshops showcasing the latest technologies ranging from Basic Life Support (BLS) to Robotics, as well as Medico-Engineering collaborations and presentations of research papers, posters, and podium sessions. The conference had a total 150 sessions, 20 Panel discussions & 10 Concurrent sessions. 18,000 participants had registered for the 3 days Medical conference which made it a Mega event in the history of Tamil Nadu State.
Prof. Selva Titus Chacko, Dean, College of Nursing, Gulf Medical University, Ajman, was among the 30 international speakers invited to the conference. She delivered a session on “Professional Identity and Future Ethics,” which was highly appreciated by the participants.
