On 18th September 2022, a Mega free Dental & Medical Camp was organized by Thumbay University Hospital in the Al Jurf campus, Ajman. BSN students of Semester 7, (Year 4) from the College of Nursing participated in this Mega event from 09.00 am to 06.00 pm. They were involved in screening the public as well as guiding them to the respective OPD counters for further consultation and investigations. A total of 5500 people was benefited with the Health Camp. The experience excited the students as it was great learning experience in serving the community. Health education, assessment, GRBS, ultrasound and cardiac evaluation were some of the services offered in the Camp. The TUH team and GMU administration commended the students for their participation and support of the event with a participation certificate.
