College of Nursing at Gulf Medical University has been granted International Accreditation (Candidacy Status) by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)

We are thrilled to announce that the College of Nursing at Gulf Medical University has been granted International Accreditation (Candidacy Status) by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) for both its Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing programs.

This landmark achievement reflects our unwavering commitment to the highest standards in nursing education. The College of Nursing extends its sincere gratitude to the ACEN Board of Directors, the Founder President and his office, the GMU Administration led by the Chancellor and his team, advisory board members, institutional partners, our GMU dedicated faculty and staff across departments, and our students—each of whom played a pivotal role in reaching this milestone.

Attaining ‘Candidacy Status’ is a major step toward full International Accreditation and reinforces our mission to produce graduates who are globally competent, professionally prepared, and widely recognized. This accomplishment aligns closely with the GMU Strategic Plan 2022–2027 and the National Nursing Strategy 2022–2026, further strengthening our contribution to national and regional healthcare advancement.

The College of Nursing remains committed to excellence in nursing education at the national, regional, and global levels.
