The College of Nursing organized a career advising session titled “Licensing Made Simple: Navigating UAE Nursing Licensure Exams” to guide BSN students on various licensing examinations and their importance for professional advancement. The session aimed to prepare students for future opportunities by offering insights into the licensure process, challenges, and strategies for success.
Ms. Judith Chidimma Nnadi, an esteemed alumna of the College of Nursing, GMU, and a licensed nurse under both MOH and DHA, served as the guest speaker. The interactive session engaged 3rd and 4th year BSN students and provided valuable information on UAE licensure requirements, NCLEX, and other international pathways. The Dean of the College of Nursing contributed to the discussion by outlining the latest licensing criteria and emphasizing the importance of hard work, dedication, and commitment in achieving career goals.
The students actively participated, expressing appreciation for the practical tips and motivational insights shared during the session. The event concluded with the Dean presenting a Certificate of Appreciation to Ms. Judith in recognition of her valuable contribution. The session ended on an inspiring note at 4:30 PM.
